Empowering young Australians to be a clear Christian voice

What happens when half the world stops having babies?

Declining populations fail economically. Ageing populations place an intolerable tax burden on the young.

But did you know?

The fertility rate of half the world is below replacement level.
Birth rates across most of the world are falling far more quickly than predicted even a few years ago.

The latest country taking action to turn the trend around is Iran. Here is their 14-point policy.

Every nation needs a fertility rate of 2.1 to survive. Australia’s current fertility rate is 1.8.

Children are a heritage from the Lord. It is time for Australia to encourage fatherhood and motherhood, and to view children as blessings instead of burdens, challenging though the task of raising kids may be.
