Why marriage is worth defending

Bright blue marriage

In a recent New York Times opinion piece, homosexual father Frank Ligtvoet expressed regret that his daughter struggled with the reality of not having a mother.

Despite the incessant push for same-sex “marriage”, reality continues to bear out the truth that children need both a mum and a dad.

The stories of Robert Oscar Lopez (who struggled growing up with two mums) and Doug Mainwaring (who saw the impact of a motherless household on his children) testify to the truth that the “equality” that homosexual activists call for is at odds with true justice and human flourishing.

Redefining marriage will lead to further weakening of biological bonds – the very bonds that stitch families and societies together.

That’s why marriage is worth defending and protecting!
