Reform Section 8: Imposing doublethink

TEXT3Section 8 of the 2008 law requires doctors to adopt this astonishing piece of doublethink: “I cannot accept that what you are asking me to do is morally or medically right. But I must, by law, send you to someone who thinks otherwise. I will suppress my own conscientious belief, and help you to do what I consider to be wrong and harmful.”

Spread the word. Inform your friends. Tell your local MP in Victoria the consciences of doctors should not be overridden and you’d like Section 8 repealed.
